Im not really nervous, im just afraid that I wont do well. I used to not even sing when I was at a singing lesson and I heard a noise, afraid that someone else would hear me. So performing was never easy, but my confidence in my singing has certainly increased over that past two years.

I picked up this book. it has lots of great photos and fact blurbs and what not. a lot of artists are included. But there was a list of “the Most synthesized New wave songs” and it ended with Borderline.. by Madonna … really. She is featured in this book way too much. Why? She’s not New wave…

The rest of list was okay, but no Ultravox (Seriously!)

There are also some other artists that I would not have included in the book. but there are pages on almost all my favorite artists of the New Wave era. overall the book is quite nice

I only spent 18 dollars because one seller took 2 dollars of all my records (so i basically got one free) I got most of them from her, she sells them really cheap compared with the rest of the sellers. I got the psychedelic Furs from her and I saw that same record being sold by another seller for $15.00 (over priced!) I already had Metamatic and Junk Culture on CD but you know I couldn’t resist buying them on record!

A few weeks ago i went to a store called the Collectible store. they have antique and stuff like old baseball cards and comic books. they have a small selection of records (actually this is where i found my fist vinyl at) . Anyway I was wearing My Adam Ant T-shirt. Somebody commented on it (which I thought was weird since people around where i live don’t seem to listen to Adam) then when i went to check out the cashier also commented on it and said that her mom or something saw him like 9 times in the UK. She comes walking in and was SO excited that I was wearing Adam on my t-shirt and was a fan, She was a really hardcore fan. I bought an Adam Ant necklace from them. couldn’t resist. I also got the Cabaret Soundtrack, which is now ruining my life! haha really nice meeting an Ant fan!
